Lee came to Boro last season in April from Rotherham United but didn't make the first team squad. He made a few appearances in the reserves however and was invited back for pre-season training in July 2006.

He instantly became a hit - scoring two hat-tricks in games against Northallerton and Rossington, along with 4 more in other games.

In the season so far he has struggled to come to terms with the step up through the leagues, and as such has only netted twice so far (11/11/06). However, he has been playing out wide on occasion due to Boro's squad problems.
