By the time issue nine came around Boro where starting to settle well into life under Mick Wadsworth. On the day of the sale of issue nine Boro were placed 4th in the 3rd Division, although Hartlepool brought us back down to earth with a 4-2 win at the McStad.
The issue itself featured articles called 'Euro '96 - From The Pub' - a different view of the championships from the Trafalgar Pub, 'The Secret Diary of the Sherwood Seadog' and a new regular feature called 'They Scored Against York' which became a popular article - dunno why!!
On page 35 we also offered to send free copies of TSBB to any Boro fans living in a Lighthouse! Although I can't recall anyone taking up the offer!
