On the day of the TSBB Poll Winners Party issue six was put on sale. Within this episode was the second episode of 'Captain Fantastic and Rockettman!' - a cartoon by Maria Foy and Jeni McLaren featuring our Club Captain Stuart Hick's and his defensive partner Jason Rockett as (Boro-related) crime fighters!!
By now the fanzine was well known and 500 copies were printed for this issue - double the circulation of issue one. Doesn't sound like many, but considering our average gate was 1,500 it was remarkable. Nearly a third of our average gate were purchasing the fanzine. That's comparable with a Man United fanzine selling 23,000 copies per issue!
The last issue of the season featured plenty of articles and comment on Boro's stewards, following yours truly being wrongly ejected from the McCain Stadium in March! Other article included Stuart Hicks' Guide to Euro '96 and John Critchley's Bramall Lane Connections.
