Tony was released at the end of last season but has been re-signed by manager Mark Patterson.

A former Leeds United Junior, he appeared for the Elland Road club three times as sub, twice in Champions League matches against Barcelona and Lazio!

He was originally signed on loan from Notts County in March 2004, but impressed enough to earn a contract for the following season. During 04-05 he scored 9 goals in 33 appearances for Boro, but following a change of position to midfield and lack of form he scored just 3 in 37 games during 05-06.

He has been a regular starter in the side so far this season, despite splitting the fans over his performances, which although containing good build-up and hold-up play, has lacked the striker's key ingredient - goals.
