Was back for a third spell with the club after originally being released at the end of last season, but played just three times this season for Boro before deciding to drop down a level following poor form.

A former Leeds United junior, he first played for Boro in the 00-01 season, making his debut at Woking in March, racking up 60 appearances before his release in February 2003. He then spent a week at Yeovil Town, before moving onto Doncaster, Tamworth, Halifax and Alfreton, arriving back at Boro on loan in March 2006.

He has played a total of 67 games, plus 12 as substitute, for Boro, scoring 8 goals.
